Guidelines for writers:
We publish work produced in a range of forms, predominantly in the broad categories of history and politics, with a major emphasis on people’s movements. We seek to publish work that deepens analysis and debate, while building perspectives of the Left in Pakistan. Relevant themes include
- Feminism
- Land, peasantry, climate and seeds
- Urban/rural divide, mega-cities, infrastructure, technology, Capital
- Labour and the precariat
- Housing, health, democracy, sustainability
PLR’s editorial policy is to ensure academic rigour in terms of analysis and accessibility to reach a wide audience. In that spirit, our research pieces provide appropriate citations and references. Further details to be provided following engagement on your pitch via email.
